What Counter is

Counter is a negotiation coaching tool. It reads the job offer or pay details you give it, estimates what similar roles pay from public pay data, and helps you prepare what to ask for and what to say. Pay ranges are estimates, not guarantees. Counter is coaching, not legal, tax, financial or employment advice, and it does not act for you, contact your employer, or guarantee any outcome. You decide what to send and say.

What you pay

The score is free. The full plan is $99, one time, not a subscription. It covers the offer you bought it for plus up to 2 more offers or raise plans, and practice, for 30 days. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.

Refunds

If the plan didn't help, email us within 14 days and we'll refund it. No questions asked.

Your information

Offer photos are read once to produce your score and are not kept. We keep the role, location, pay figures and the score and plan we produced, so you can come back to them and so our ranges improve. Names, contact details and employee IDs are never shown back. If you pay, Stripe gives us your email so we can restore your plan and handle refunds. We don't sell your information and we never contact your employer.
